About Vera Usigbe
Nurse Usigbe Vera Osetohanmen is an experienced public health nurse with over two decades of service in preventive and community healthcare. She currently works at the National Assembly Health Services Directorate, She holds academic qualifications in Nursing, Public Health Nursing, Environmental Health Management, and Legislative Studies, with additional training in leadership and project management in global health and she is currently running a PhD programme in Leadership and Strategies Studies (LSS). Her professional interests span health promotion, health policy & health system and leadership in healthcare systems.

Nurse Usigbe Vera Osetohanmen currently Serves as Assitant Director Nursing at the National Assembly Health Services Directorate, Abuja, since 2005, delivering preventive care, health education, and community health interventions. She has contributed to health policy support and risk communication with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), and currently serves as Public Relations Officer of the Professional Association of Public Health Nurses of Nigeria (PAPHNON).
